MDWES is noticing that more of our clients acquiring brownfield sites which range form commercial/industrial units, petrol stations, factories, foundries, reclaimed land to landfills. These sites can have a detrimental effect on the environment if left unattended, which can results in long term environmental damage. Under the Contaminated Sites Act, sites of this nature require the landholder to consider the “proposed”, “current” and “historic land” use in an investigation. This is particularly prevalent in a change of use or sale of land.
The team at MDWES can assist you no matter what the environmental condition of your Site, through its wealth of experience and a strong track record of environmental investigation we can determine if there are any detrimental environmental impacts.
