We are currently undertaking environmental management of the site while excavation works is ongoing. Our sister company Mobile Dewatering commences dewatering on the project on the 10th June which will mean an increased presence by both MDW and MDWES personnel which MDWES also starting environmental management of dewatering operations on the 10th also.
Doubletree Hotel Waterfront has commenced it’s piling operations. This project is new and exciting development for the Barrack St Jetty area. MDWES are currently monitoring the impact the piling works has on the Swan River to ensure the integrity of the water quality is not compromised.
Our soils team has undergone another round of ground gas monitoring on a major construction project in the city. With one more ground gas monitoring event left which will be completed later in the month we will be looking to close out one aspect of the project by August 2016. This will be a success for the client in what has been an environmentally sensitive and heavily scrutinised due the presence of an environmental auditor.
